Fantasy Comic

I was lucky enough to be commissioned to create the first issue of an adult-themed comic recently. The story focuses on a man named Neil, who finds a unique piece of ‘equipment’ and embarks on a fantastical journey with his friends.

It was great to work on a larger project like this, and a real departure from my usual ‘child-friendly’ themes. Although I kept the essence of my aesthetic, focusing on something more mature was quite rewarding. I had to figure out how to balance my cartoonish style with the ‘stoner’ storyline, without losing its mass appeal.

I hope to work on more projects like this. It's a good idea to not box yourself into a specific category, and expand your horizons.
